MediResource

MediResource started in 1996 as a pioneer in interactive health, building websites and CD-ROMs. Our initial focus was developing educational programs for physicians and pharmacists. We are different from most interactive companies. We hire in-house, full-time health professionals with front-line experience. This adds significantly to our understanding of how to create the most effective health education programs. We realize that there is a significant need to offer consumer-level information to effectively assist health professionals in their role of improving patient health.

As a result of this need, we created the MediResource drug and disease library. We wanted to provide a broad range of consumer-level health information that stood above the usual standard and over-simplified health brochures. We create health information that is meaningful. Years ago we observed how the internet was quickly changing how people were managing their health. Access to health information allowed people to become more empowered about managing their health. We knew this positive shift would ultimately benefit both patients and health professionals.

MediResource has quickly adapted from being a technology-focused organization and has become a leading health information publisher (with extremely strong knowledge of how to use technology). We are at the forefront of creating new technologies that deliver health content. We differentiate ourselves from others, as we don't just create health information or just develop technology, we do both. This has allowed us to have a unique perspective and create more technologically innovative ways to deliver information that effectively improves health.

We remain focused on the patient and on finding ways to make people better, faster. We do this by providing the best consumer-level health information available utilizing the best technology to deliver it. We never forget that health professionals are a critical part of the patient equation, and we remain one of the leaders in providing medical education to physicians and pharmacists.
