Living with infertility can take a major toll on your emotional, interpersonal, work, and social life. Getting support from others who understand can help you get through this difficult time.

Experts Dr. Janet Takefman, Director of Psychological Services at the McGill Reproductive Centre, and Beverly Hanck, Executive Director of the Infertility Awareness Association of Canada (IAAC), participated in an online webcast to discuss how to cope with these challenging aspects of infertility.

Among other topics, Dr. Takefman debunked common myths; gave advice on coping with the stresses associated with infertility; and offered practical tips on handling relationship, social, and treatment struggles. Beverly Hanck described how to access the patient services and support groups offered by IAAC and discussed the benefits of sharing with others.
